What are compression lows?
Have you ever been wearing a CGM at night and awoken to a loud beeping? What? Why is your sensor saying that you’re 46 when you were a nice 100 a mere five minutes ago? You may be experiencing a compression low.
How do you avoid them?
What I have noticed is that if I have my sensor on the back of my arm and I’m lying on my back, then the sensor is more likely to be compressed. I have switched to solely putting my sensor on the front of my arm.
